CARES Act Grant Compliance Training

While the CARES Act provides Women’s Business Centers (WBC) unprecedented emergency funds to help Women-Owned Businesses navigate these difficult times, we anticipate that the oversight and review of COVID-19 funds’ use will be robust. For that reason the Association for Women’s Business Centers will be promulgating a “CARES Act Best Practices Guide” and providing associated training to help WBCs understand and meet their compliance obligations.

Join us Wednesday, August 5 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET. While the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) provides Women’s Business Centers (WBC) unprecedented emergency funds to help Women-Owned Businesses navigate these difficult times, we anticipate that the oversight and review of COVID-19 funds’ use will be robust.  For that reason the Association for Women’s Business Centers will be promulgating a “CARES Act Best Practices Guide” and providing associated training to help WBCs understand and meet their compliance obligations.  In this internal webinar, presenters from the law firm, Squire Patton Boggs LLP, who drafted the Guide, will provide training on the WBCs’ compliance obligations and the appropriate use of the Guide to meet those requirements.
